By making a booking, purchasing a gift voucher or membership, or entering Naia Bathhouse, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Bookings & Arrival
Bookings are subject to availability and must be paid for at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Please arrive with enough time to check in and change before your session. Your booking time is the start of your allocated bathhouse session. Late arrival does not extend your session and may result in a shorter bathing experience.
Guests must leave the bathing areas at the end of their allocated session. Session times allow us to carefully manage capacity so the bathhouse remains safe, comfortable and spacious for everyone.
Cancellations & Changes
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Bookings cancelled or changed with less than 24 hours' notice may be non-refundable and may not be eligible for rescheduling or credit.
No-shows are non-refundable.
Where Naia Bathhouse needs to cancel a booking due to circumstances within our control, guests will be offered a rescheduled booking, credit or refund as appropriate.
Bathers
Bathers must be worn at all times within the bathhouse.
Naia is an inclusive space and all bodies, genders and identities are welcome. We ask that guests respect the comfort, privacy and personal space of others at all times.
Phones, Photography & Privacy
The bathhouse is a phone-free environment.
Phones, cameras and other recording devices must not be used within the bathhouse, bathing areas or changerooms.
Photography, video and audio recording are not permitted unless expressly approved by Naia Bathhouse.
This policy helps protect the privacy of our guests and allows everyone to enjoy the space without distraction.
Bathhouse Etiquette
Naia is a shared communal space. Guests are expected to behave respectfully and considerately towards others.
Please keep conversation at a considerate volume and respect guests who may be seeking a quieter experience.
Harassment, discrimination, inappropriate conduct, intimidation or behaviour that compromises the comfort or safety of another guest or staff member will not be tolerated.
Naia reserves the right to ask anyone behaving inappropriately or failing to follow staff directions to leave the premises. No refund will be provided where a guest is required to leave due to inappropriate behaviour or a breach of these Terms.
Health & Safety
Bathing, sauna, steam, cold-water immersion and heat experiences may not be suitable for everyone.
Guests are responsible for determining whether the facilities are appropriate for their individual circumstances. If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication that may affect your response to heat or cold, or have concerns about participating, we recommend seeking advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before visiting.
Please stay hydrated, listen to your body and leave any facility immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, unwell or uncomfortable.
Do not enter the bathhouse while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Guests must follow all safety signage and reasonable instructions provided by Naia staff.
Hygiene
All guests must shower before entering the pools, sauna, hammam or other bathing facilities.
Guests must not attend Naia if they have a contagious illness, open or infectious wound, or other condition that may pose a health or hygiene risk to others.
Please use a towel when sitting or lying in the sauna and follow any hygiene instructions displayed throughout the bathhouse.
Personal Belongings
Lockers are provided for personal belongings during your visit.
Naia Bathhouse is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Please ensure your locker is secured and take all belongings with you when leaving.
Age Requirements
Naia Bathhouse is a 16+ environment.
Guests must be aged 16 years or older to enter and use the bathhouse facilities. Guests aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult aged 18 years or older.
Naia reserves the right to request proof of age where appropriate.
Accessibility
Naia aims to provide a welcoming and accessible environment. Accessible facilities and a pool hoist are available.
If you require assistance or have accessibility requirements that may affect your visit, please contact us before your booking so we can help make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Memberships
Memberships are for the individual named on the membership and cannot be transferred or shared.
Membership benefits, booking access, session limits and any applicable restrictions are subject to the membership type purchased.
Naia memberships are currently valid for eligible weekday sessions only unless otherwise stated.
Standard session durations and booking conditions continue to apply to members.
Membership cancellations require one month's notice.
Naia reserves the right to suspend or cancel a membership where these Terms & Conditions or bathhouse policies are repeatedly or seriously breached.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are subject to the validity period and conditions stated at the time of purchase.
Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Bookings made using a gift voucher remain subject to Naia's standard booking and cancellation policies.
Facility Availability
From time to time, individual facilities may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, cleaning, safety requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
The temporary unavailability of an individual facility does not automatically entitle a guest to a refund or credit where the broader bathhouse remains open and reasonably available for use.
Changes to Sessions & Opening Hours
Naia may occasionally need to change session times, opening hours, capacity or facility availability for operational, maintenance or safety reasons.
Where a significant change directly affects an existing booking, we will make reasonable efforts to contact affected guests and provide an appropriate alternative.
Responsibility & Australian Consumer Law
Guests use Naia's facilities in accordance with these Terms, displayed safety information and staff instructions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Respecting the Space
Naia has been created as a place for rest, bathing and community.
Please treat our facilities, staff and fellow guests with care and respect. Deliberate damage, unsafe behaviour or serious breaches of bathhouse rules may result in removal from the premises and responsibility for reasonable costs arising from any damage caused.
Updates to These Terms
Naia Bathhouse may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The Terms applicable to your booking or purchase will be those made available to you at the relevant time.
By completing your booking, purchasing a membership or gift voucher, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
